Bible Study
Contact: Pastor Bair
Bible Study for adults occurs throughout the church year on Tuesday mornings at 9:00am. The focus of this group is reading the Bible from front to back. It is a great way to learn together and hear rich biblical stories that are not included in our preaching lectionary. This group has been meeting for over 30 years! Other Bible study opportunities are held throughout the year.

Children’s Sunday School
Contact: Debbie Worrell
Sunday school is offered for children during the regular church year at 9:00am each Sunday morning. The children gather to hear stories from the Bible, make crafts, sing in worship on occasion and fellowship together. We are always looking for children to come and join us!

Confirmation
Contact: Pastor Bair
Confirmation is an important part of Zion’s ministry. This program helps prepare students as they seek to become adult members of the congregation through their Affirmation of Baptism. The class is taught by the pastor and several members of the congregation. The students learn stories from the bible and how those lessons apply to their everyday faith and their ongoing walk in their faith journey.

First Holy Communion Classes
Contact: Pastor Bair
Third graders gather to learn the meaning and methods of Holy Communion at a one day special event prior to their first sharing of Holy Communion at Worship on Pentecost Sunday.

Vacation Bible School
Contact: Karen Blair
Each summer during the month of July, we hold our week long Vacation Bible School in the evenings. The children gather together to sing and play, learn bible stories, make crafts, eat tasty snacks, and have lots of fun! Each year the children collect an offering and donations which are given locally within our
community.
